Broadwater River Estate

Relax next to the calm water, listen to the call of the Fish Eagle and drink champagne under the stars. Broadwater is a 4-star private river resort on the banks of the Vaal River near Kimberley and Douglas.

Each of the 10 camp sites has a private bathroom (bath and shower), scullery facilities and electrical point. Most of the camp sites have a river front and shade, close to the more than 30km fishing water and a diversity of bird life.

Lucky visitors can even view the Vaal River's own Big 5 : the otter, Fish eagle, King fisher, Giant heron and the Monitor lizard.
