Skipper T
I have just bought a model T and would like to know if anyone has used a T on gravel road.
Should I get bigger tyres or are the standard wheels fine for gravel roads.
Will be fine on gravel roads , I painted the underside of mine with bakkie rubber paint and covered the nose cone with aluminium checker plate. The only issue you may have with fitting larger wheels is the weather strip may not reach the ground.
Never thought of that, thank you
Bigger wheels will only be required if you drive on roads with a high middlemannetjie. But then again, that will not be a real gravel road and probably not advisable for the Skipper. We have travelled lang distances on good gravel roads with our Oyster with no negative results and the Model T is even iighter.
Thank you for your inputð
