WONDERLAND 45 - NOPE!

We went to check it out today on a scouting trip, well we actually planned on spending the day but on arrival we changed our minds and decided to rather scout the area so the trip out was not totally wasted. It was not nice at all. Low low fences falling down in places, lots of dams but we spoke to about 7 fisherman today and not 1 had seen a fish never mind caught one. I had a few casts just to test the water and there is no visibility, the bottom is a mess of snags and rocks. I know fishing is decent in summer as I have a few fishing friends who love it but we spoke to a few people who went today for the first time too and said they would not waste their money coming back. R130 per adult, R65 for Teens and R35 for kids, PLUS R30 for the stand (not per person) if you decided to camp. Camping seems to be wherever you want to set up, so no designated sites, no power that I saw and the bathroom is hellishly far depending on where you camp. It's neat and clean but Old and yucky. It's a family resort so lots to keep kids busy but I would not be going back for camping or fishing. 4/10
