Tse’hlanyane National Park is deeply situated in the front row of the Maluti Mountains. The reserve has its existence due to the access road to Hlotse Tunnel with access to the Lesotho Highlands water project. This conservation area is located at the confluence of the Tse’hlanyane and Holomo rivers. More than 5600 hectares of rugged mountain terrain are protected in the park. It includes one of the few indigenous forests of Lesotho.
