Ek wonder net wat die impak gaan wees op ons kamp plekke. Cape Vidal en ander het in die laaste jaare so agteruit gegaan dat die Natalers nie meer daar heen gaan nie. Hulle kom nou maar na SANParke vir hille wild ritte. Die Wildtuin is vol met KZN mense.

Die volgende kampe is kenelik geafekteer: Cape Vidal, Sodwana Bay, St Lucia, Maphelane/ Mkhuze/ Mantuma, and Kosi Bay.

Miskien sal dit nou beter gaan?

Talks about investors and concessions with the staff preferring to stay with the state.

So much potential there. Fantastic birding etc.

When we visited last year there seemed to have been lots of money pumped in to develop admin blocks and bird/game hides... but cracks were starting to show .... maintenance needed.

We did not use any camping facilities so can't comment on those.

I would think that the change can only be an improvment.  The Gov staff get a salary if they do their work or not.  If a private company runs it something is bound to happen.  Down fall is the rates and cost to visit the places will go sky high.

Only time will tell if the change is for the good.
