EDEN PARK
I am planning a 2 week December / Jan holiday at Eden Park Resort. I would really like other peoples advice on this resort. Good, bad, nice or not. Worth the trip.
Thanks
Which one are referring to ?
We regularly stay at Eden Park just outside Naboomspruit (I cant remember the new name). It is a relatively small resort each with their own bathroom and kitchenette. Each stand has a braai as well, and if there are a few of you, they will deliver a half drum braai for you so that everyone can braai together. The stands are bricked with gaps between the bricks for pegs and is always swept before anyone arrives. There is relatively good shade, but it does get hot there in Summer. Sharon who handles all the bookings is a gem, and normally does a daily run around the camp to make sure no one is having problems. There are security guards at night who patrol the camp and they normally introduce themselves to everyone as well. For the kids there is a jungle gym area, 2 pools, a rec room with games, trampolines and lots of safe cycling on the farm on good dirt roads. There is a small tuckshop for sweets, ice and charcoal, but you are close enough to town in case you forget anything. Easy to get to on good roads, and within easy reach from Jhb and Pta for a short weekend as well. You will enjoy your stay
We visited Eden Park for the first time over the past weekend. What a beautiful, tranquil and clean place. Everything was outstanding. We felt secure with the security guy there and the walk in the veld was so relaxing. I am about to call them to make a reservation for later this year.
Eden Park is lovely, just very pricey - but it is a 5 star
