Information

LEOPARDTRAIL GUESTFARM is situated against the foothills and slopes of the Langeberge between Swellendam and Ashton on the R60.

The farm is only 200 kms from Cape Town and Mosselbay, 150 kms from Struisbaai and 260 kms from Oudtshoorn.

It is a working farm, but we want the guests to enjoy and experience the peace and tranquillity and beauty amidst unspoiled surroundings.

On the farm are 2 fully equipped guesthouses offering self catering accommodation where you can stay overnight and a bush camp between the mountain cliffs where you can peacefully camp in beautiful nature. At the bush camp is a dam, where you can swim, fish, meditate and recharge your soul. There are also rowing boats you can use. You can do a lot of activities on the farm, like 4x4, mountain biking, hiking, bird watching and fishing! On the farm are 6 dams with black bass you can try your luck on.

Here are several 4x4 routes on the farm that can also be used for hiking and mountain biking. Some of the routes are easier and shorter and others are more difficult and longer. When guests arrive, we show them all the possibilities of hiking, biking or 4x4 trails, on a map.

The longest trail goes into the Marloth Nature reserve, on which you can see a lot of ferns and proteas and fynbos. We have fountain water in the taps! Here you can really rest and enjoy nature!
