Bontebok National Park, just outside the historic town of Swellendam, lies at the foot of the majestic Langeberg Mountains and is bordered by the winding Breede River. The Park is home to over 200 Bontebok and many other animals including the Red Hartebeest and Grey Rhebok. Although the smallest of SA’s 22 National Parks, it is by no means less diverse. Nearby attractions include the Lavender Farm, River Cruises or a Zip line Adventure at Buffeljachts Dam. You can also travel the magical Tradouw Pass and stop to taste some wine in the Tradouw Valley.
