Lake Pleasant Resort

A peaceful well shaded resort situated halfway between Wilderness and Knysna on the shores of the Garden Route only freshwater lake Groenvlei. Groenvlei is part of the Goukamma Nature Reserve and also part of the Garden Route National Park.

The Goukamma Nature Reserve, on the Resort eastern boundary, is over 2500 hectares or 50 square kms in extent. Lake Pleasant boasts being the only Resort offering 3-star graded, serviced, Cottages & Lodges, as well as Caravan and Camping, alongside a freshwater Lake in the Southern Cape.
