Tar road all the way to the entrance and paved roads in the resort. The ablutions are very neat and well serviced. All the sites are paved although smallish. Very few trees. The resort is literally on the beach on which you can walk for miles. The security gate is manned 24/7. The pensioners rate (R888 for 3 nights) is in my opinion very reasonable. There's a small shop on the premises where basic needs can be bought. Bigger supermarkets are only a few minutes away. I already made a reservation for January 2025.

Pragtige see uit sigte, ablusies was n plesier om te gebruik. Pragtigste son opkoms en ondergaans tonele. Personeel baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Deurgaan veilig gevoel. Meeste staanplekke is geplavei. Gaan loer op hul webtuiste vir uitgebreide info op hul kampeer area asook fotos en beskrywing van elke staanplek. Voel dat ons puik waarde vir ons geld ontvang het. Oord is lekker sentraal om toerisme besienswaardighede in Mosselbaai, George en ander tuinroete dorpe te besigtig. Ek sal definitief weer hier kon kampeer as ek hierdie area besoek.

We have nothing but praise for this beautiful resort. It is definitely our favorite go too resort and we visit it at least once a year. The pensioner special makes it very affordable. The Access road to the resort is tarred and is clearly demarcated from the N2 - Groot Brak. There is 24 hour security and the camp can only be accessed through a security boom gate. The staff, from the security, administrative staff, cleaners and grounds men, are amazing, helpful and very friendly. We have always been treated with the utmost respect and any queries are resolved quickly and efficiently. The ablutions are spotless and attended too regularly throughout the day. The sites are paved and there is a choice between sea view and non sea view sites. Each site has an electrical point and a braai. The braai and the refuse bins are cleaned on a daily basis. Water points, although shared between sites, are easily accessible. A coin operated laundry, kitchen and porta potty amenities are also available. The kiddies park and the beautiful beach makes it a gem for the kids. There is a small shop on the premises and it provides for basic needs. Anything other is within driving distance of the resort. There are plenty of attractions in the area with both George and Mosselbaai within 30 minutes drive from the resort. Dwarswegstrand get's a five star rating from us and deserves a visit if you are planning to go camping in that area!
