The resort entrance is direct from the main tar road and access is obtained by intercom system. The road to the office, camping sites and self catering units are either tar, or paving. The camping sites are well laid out with some stands with shade net and paving and others with gravel or grass. All stands are properly marked and have a electric point, water tap and a shared sink. Each stand has his own braai which is in a very good condition and a bin. All the braais and bins are cleaned every morning. Their is a well kept pool with baby pool. A small play park for the children are well maintained. A well kept entertainment area consist of a TV room and a pool table. a Hiking trail for the enthusiast and a bike trail. From the owners down to the cleaners are all very friendly and help full. The buildings, ablutions are all very well maintained and cleaned. No problem with hot water. Security for us was good, with the place surrounded by palisade and razor wire on top of that. It is my understanding that the owner and the permanent residents patrol the area at night. As we were standing alone at one camping area we did not feel unsafe. One morning at about 02:00 I visited the ablutions and saw some one patrolling the area. The shop have some items available but the shops and town outside is not far from Weavers Roost. Weavers Roost is a nice break away from the hustle of the city far relaxing camping between trees. Sites are spacious, well marked and maintained. This is really value for money. If you are tired of your neighbor you can always visit the attractions in the area. This wasn't our first visit and God willing it won't be our last.

On the R563 in the Cradle of Humankind area and only 50 km from JHB. The road is good all the way. We have travelled the R563 often and have never noticed the Weavers Roost signboards. Tucked away in the valley this well established resort is very well run and boasts large camping sites, chalets and luxury wooden cabins all well maintained. The ablutions are neat and clean. On site there is a large pool, waterslide, a small shop ,and a trampoline which are all a hit with the day visitors. Unfortunately the mobile and data reception is poor in the valley, but you can entertain yourself with the 6km hiking trail for the more adventurous, putt putt, table tennis, or a game of pool. There are a number of long term campers in the resort but this does not detract too much from the overall experience. There is an off peak pensioners special offered.

What a lovely place indeed! We had an absolutely lovely experience here. The owners are definitely very creative and artistic. Everything is neat and beautiful. They have lovely roads for vehicles and caravans, so no issue getting into a spot. We just love the shade nets, it even kept our tents dry when it was raining all weekend! It is such a pleasure being in an environment where you can experience nature again. The area is beautiful. We had the pleasure of enjoying a freshly made melktert and potbrood. Very nice and safe play area for kids. Big swimming pool and also a very nice smaller one for kids. Super tube also fun! Small tuck shop for ice creams and the necessary. Super friendly staff. We can't wait to come again!

Access to the resort is easy, very close to Krugersdorp. Owner is hands on and really friendly. Staff is great. Ablutions are clean all through the day. Big heated pool and supertube. Pool have ample shaded spots. Campsite is clean, more than enough shaded sites. Some caravan stands have full cover shaded stands. Power is normal 3 point plugs. The shop sells most of what you would need at prices similar mal to that of supermarkets. Definitely good value for money. Biggest benefit for me is the late checkout on Sundays, this really gives you almost an extra day camping.
