Cannon Rocks Holiday Resort

We are very fortunate in SA to have a significant number of excellent venues like this to enjoy - well designed, maintained, secure, clean and value for money. During the month that we stayed here there were only 2 other sites occupied, other than for a few over the weekends. In fact, this would be an excellent spot for the increasingly large community of retired folk (often with small animals) that are looking for a relaxing place for a period in excess of 2 weeks in the low season - if only the resort's website indicated the monthly tariffs etc. The beach is clearly the safest along the SA coastline - walked Kms each day often without seeing another soul.

Good ablutions kept clean at all hours. Pool and communal area and games room well equipped. Small shop very handy for essentials. Sites a bit small for 4 person caravan with tent and awning but sheltered and with some shade. Sites a bit sandy but recent drought may account for this. Walking distance to good beach. Good for families with kids.
