Mabibi Beach Camp - Quest to Kosi Bay

Trips | News
Our first campsite that we stayed at on the Quest to Kosi Bay was Mabibi Beach Camp near Lake Sibaya on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast. The best way to describe Mabibi Beach Camp is that it is a "Bush" campsite. It has all you really need for any rustic bush campsite, plenty of space in each shady campsite to park your vehicle and set up your camping equipment, a built in braai area, and a tap, with no electricity and an ablution block nearby. What more do you actually need when breaking away from our hectic lives?

Kosi Bay Casitas - Quest to Kosi Bay

Trips | News
Our second campsite that we stayed at on the Quest to Kosi Bay was Kosi Bay Casitas in Kosi Bay on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast. Kosi Bay Casitas is a perfect base camp if you want to explore Kosi Bay. It has spacious clearly marked campsites with water, electricity and shade as well as self-catering casitas and a backpackers lodge to cater for all types of people, but you do still need a 4x4 to explore the area.

The Planning - Quest to Kosi Bay

Trips | News
Brian and I, Sean, at CaravanParks.com have been provided with a 5 day 4x4 rental by 4WD Expeditions in which we will be using their Land Rover 110 Defender TD5. We are both very excited to be given the break away from the everyday office vibe and eagerly started thinking about what type of adventure to go on. With our minds focused on the trip, we were both looking up routes and places that we wanted to go to with our limitations being that Brian does not have a passport and we did not want to travel too far so two main options came up.
