During the second half of 2022 we requested that members bring a tin of dog food along to outings that we wished to donate to Save-a-pet. 

We kicked this initiative off with our Mystery Outing in July which was done in the theme of "Amazing Race" where campers had to pick up clues to find the camp spot at the bottom of the Lady Slipper Mountain. At two of the stops, members had to buy a tin of dog food for the cashier to give them the next clue.

This was a great initiative from our Chairman and we would also like to give a big shout-out to Engen Baywest 1 Stop who not only agreed to be one of our clue-stations, but also agreed to match every tin of dog food purchased that day.

All the food collected was donated to Save a Pet this January, and below is an email of thanks from Leigh Done, manager at Save a Pet.
