Farm Venus and Meteorite Rest Camp is situated in the fertile Otjihaenena Valley and Maize Triangle of Grootfontein, Tsumeb and Otavi; famous for the production of white-maize, the staple food of the indigenous people and cattle farming. Only 3 kilometres away; is the Hoba meteorite where it impacted earth about 80 000 years ago.

Meteorite Rest Camp is a perfect stop over nearby Grootfontein and un-route to Waterberg, Etosha, Kavango and Caprivi. Farm atmosphere; quiet nights, bright stars and the call of the jackal roundoff a perfect day in Africa

Tranquille farm atmosphere - Planting season starts December to January and harvesting of crop is from June to July. In the hot summers you can find relief under the shade of the indigenous trees; and cool down in the swimming pool. A variety of birds can be spectated and thousands of them gather in the Juka Palms in the winter.
