Husqvarna Saws Having spent a long weekend camping in what is more or less the coldest time of the year for, I found myself and some friends scrounging for fire wood. Between using an axe, brute force, a bow saw and a foldable saw we were able to ensure that our campsite was smoky and warm for the duration. A saw is much more efficient than an axe when it comes to collecting firewood. We sawed some very big logs on the first day with a bow saw and a foldable saw. By rotating the logs we were able to cut log about 250-300mm in diameter. Sawing is thus quicker and uses less energy and in the absence of a chain saw is a life saver. TacQM stocks two types of Husqvarna saws: Fixed and Fold-able each with its own merits given your specific objective. Fixed saws are supplied with a Scabbard. Fold-able saws nest easily in your pocket for portability. Whether you are gardening, spending time in the bush or perhaps need to saw through wooden obstructions or barriers on roads or highways a Husqvarna Saw is more than capable of the task. For those interested in Bush Craft and Survival, the saw is indispensable. It cuts cleanly and quickly and will maintain its edge for a long time. If I were a pilot or 4x4 overlander this would definitely be part of my gear. As it is I carry the foldable saw in my GO BAG.
