Water tank inlet hose - Jurgens Classique
Good day, Our water tank inlet hose has a tear and so we are unable to fill the tank. Where can we get a replacement hose?
I dont know exactly where, but I guess if you took the pipe of for a sample to a hardware shop they would probably match something up.
two roads diverged in a wood and i took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.
Some plastic pipes does not handle water well over long periods. That is the case with the inexpensive transparent type that you get a lot. This work well but become hard and white in timr. If you use this type, carry some with as spare to replace when necessary, that is if it can be done withou a lot of disassembly. You will probably get the correct type from caravan dealers or perhaps they would also use this type. At leat they do last a few years.

Depending on the diameter pipe you require, good quality garden hose might be a good option. It is made to carry water and as it is non transparent, algae cannot grow inside as it the case with clear plastic pipe. This type is akso UV redistant which the clear pipe is not.

It is normally the hot water pipe that goes due to the high temprature and high pressure. I notice the caravan olaces also use the nylon inforced transparent pipe, but I am sure there must be better quality avaialable. Everything come from china lately, and I think that is where the problem lies I dont understabd why they use such high pressure pumps in a caravan
