Good news , it is coming back to life , the Kei Mouth Caravan Park is reopening its campsites from 1st December 2024, under new management.The ablution block has been completed refurbished, It is 8km from Morgan bay , 85km from East London, 200m to the beach Those nearby, let’s support it. 

Hi Rare breed, have you travelled the N2 from East London to Kokstad recently, looking for an up to date report on the road works , stop / go etc, as we towing our van that way in 2 weeks time.

Nothing has changed , 2 stop / go after Morgan bay turn & 2 between Mount Ayliff & Kokstad. Since you would be traveling early  on Sunday morning , you should be fine, don’t panic!!

Just some clarity, the site fee is based on 6 people, in other words, it’s R400 for 6 people in December. That’s is a bargain!

Sadly , the caravan park hasn’t opened as scheduled, there are still some issues relating to Eskom, the bathrooms are still incomplete, they have lost big time as many people were looking forward to the reopening of the caravan park, the website is not up and running too. Let’s hope for the best .
