I finally got my ewiks movers fitted correctly, and they have been working. However , I now have an issue with the 30amp fuse on the one side blowing after only a few minutes of operating.  Does anyone know why this is happening just on one side and what can be done. Thanks in advance

Die probleem daar is die mover aan die kant wat die fuse blaas is tenaby aan die wiel gestel .Meet die afstand van die een wat nie blaas maw die afstand tussen die roller en die band maak dan die balk effens los en neem n rubber hammer en tik die balk tot distansie dieselfde is en maak weer die balk vas .Dit is gewoonlik so hy loop net so minuut of 2 dan blaas die fuse .Gelukkig maklik om teherstel .As jy nie verstaan laatweet maar dan gee ek my sel nr dan kan jy my skakel .

Daar is n ander manier om hulle ook testel maar dit moeilik om so teverduidelik .Die beste is nou meet die een wat regwerk se distansie wat die roller van die wiel is en verstel dienooreenkomstig maar ek is oortuig dit is die probleem .

Nog nie die probleem ondervind nie. 

Is op die Classique nou al vier jaar.

Thanks for the above input. If I have understood them correctly I should checknthe distance between the wheel and the drum when not engaged. Thisbis have done and find that the faulty drum is further from rhe wheel than the OK side. 

So, I guess I will have to call ewiks I Durban this week. They have always been helpful

Hi Ian that is very strange because 9 out of 10 times that distance is the problem .Dit you measure the distance in the middel of the tyre .What you can do take a small piece of wood and cut it exactly the size that can fit in nice and thight on the side that is fine .And use that as a reference on the side that trip .What you also can check ,is the persentage contact ,of the drum on the tyre both sides must be the same .

I support this info.  With the Powrtouch Mover I had on the Maia the distance between the roller and the wheel surface had to be 19mm.  So I assume that the distance with the Ewiks mover will have to be set correctly.  Also check that the tire pressure on both wheels are close to the same as this will have an influence on the contact surface.
