Morning all

Where can I buy the piping material to sew onto the canvas which then attached to the caravan alluminium beading. This is known as Keder rail and fabric by the way ;-)

We are making a new rally awning and need this piping.

@George and @Leon - thanks guys that helps. I thought maybe the rip stop would get warm and start sticking as you pull.

We bought nice 5mm rope, and the material we used was too thick.

Same here. The piping in Jhb & Pta is only sold in 100 meter roles. If you have it fitted they charge R65 per meter fitted to your rally canopy.

I have just received a quotation from Discovery CampLife to replace my piping of my Exclusive tent roof. R365. But they use the old piping with new canvas.

I cannot find the perfect piping, so will do what everyone else if doing. Thanks for all the input.

If TV cable is too thick, perhaps the plastic washing line or die spiral metal cord with plastic cover used to hang lace curtains might be the correct thickness
