Best caravan park at struisbaai
Morning guys,I'm busy planning next year's langstaan tour,I'm starting at struisbaai,I see there's two caravan parks struisbaai caravan park and L'Agulhas caravan park, which of the two are best and most cost effective regarding langstaan?

I got reply from both they don't do monthly deals only daily, nowim looking at Waenhuiskrans arniaton????

We have stayed many times at both and once at Waenhuiskrans. Both at the southern point are safe but not really exciting so I would rather go for Waenhuiskrans anyway if they allow long term camping. Quite a pleasant little town. Also consider Witsand which is not too far from these three but again I don't know about their arrangements.

Witsand has two municipal camps
West Camp: The first camp as you enter Witsand is ideally situated for those who want to be close to the Breede River Mouth as well as the Blue Flag beach. The Breede has the widest river mouth in South Africa and is ideally suited for a range of water activities, the most loved one here being of course kiting! International kite surfers have been amazed by this place as it provides favourable conditions for practising tricks. They love to come here during summer for the wind and are always pleasantly surprised with the lack of crowds in these parts, something we take for granted! Other water sports like SUPing is also popular and before we forget, fishing! Fishing on the Breede goes hand in hand and the stories you’ll hear around this favourable past time will leave you intrigued.
Middle Camp: This camp is situated on the eastern end of Witsand right on the beach and offers amazing fishing opportunities from the sand as well as rocks. There is a little tidal pool for swimming and the Blue Flag beach is also walking distance. Towards the east you can walk for many kilometres, making this an ideal retreat if you want to escape for a bit. Of course one of the major drawcards are the whales during winter. The Southern Right Whales flock to St. Sebastian Bay (which is in front of the campsite) each year from July to November to calve in the calm waters and provides breathtaking land-based viewing. Come see for yourself why Witsand is called THE whale nursery of Southern Africa.

The Middle camp to me does not look appetising and I will not go there. For the rest I agree.

Much appreciated,I see the monthly tariff for witsand, preekatoel, ellensrus and gouritzmind are reasonable.

They are all owned by the Hessequa municipality of which Stilbaai is part. It is a very well run municipality. I know. We have a house there. Rather go for Ellensrus in Stilbaai. Preekstiel is a bit remote. Jongensfontein is also in this group and is one of the most popular in the Southern Cape.
