I had the privilege of 2 complimentary ticket to visit the show.  I missed CP unless they were hiding at the Camp & Live stand.

There were very attracrtive vans on show.   My Swing would easily disappear if I had the money for a Afrispoor or Bush Lapa.    I think there are far too many choices for our local market.   Believe it or not I had two salesmen admit that their vans were too heavy for a Ranger or Hilux and that at least a Land Cruiser 200 or the latest 300 was required.   

A Hilux 2,8 fitted with a lot of heavy metal fitted front and aft still weighed in at an unbelievable 2028kg - the fitment centre ignored the regs about permanent fittings and the need to reregister the vehicle. 

The 5-door Jimny looked impressive but with the original 1,5l engine was underpowered - at least for open road touring. 

The number of visitors was a welcome sight for the exhibitors.

My kinders was nie bewus van die Skou se tye nie en het vir Ons 'n wegbreek gereel gedurende die naweek.

Kon nie by die skou uitkom nie.  Wat jammer is want ek wou baie graag na die Freeline Caravans gekyk het.

Die wat daar was ........................................ hoop julle het dit geniet.  Die was die eerste keer ek die skou gemis het sedert 2000
