Hello, our "new" 2005 Penta has a modular tent as well as a rally tent. I think I figured out which poles belong to the the main tent. Then there are some extra poles which I assume belong to the rally tent. Looking at the left over poles there is only one pole in the middle of the rally tent that connect to the middle of the caravan. It seems the sides has no poles connecting to the caravan only down poles. Is this suppose to be like that? I ask because I saw some photos where the main tent is on the one side and a rally on the other. 

It's probably the case but it's easy to makeup additional side poles for the rally. Either purchase them from a dealer or buy the poles from a supplier (probably cheaper)and the fittings from the dealer.

Our first rally we had for our Caravette 4 never had side poles and we sold the van without ever having any. However the next van a Caravette 6 rally also never had side poles but we made them up.

The setup will look much neater with the side poles than without and rain water is also easier to control with the side poles.

Andries I have a 2006 Palma same as the Penta outside. I bought a brand new rally at Kempton caravans. Also no side poles, only three legs basically. I then got four poles for side poles and it works much better. If its rain on the rally it makes dams on top without the side poles, big mess.
