asking for a family member, they have a getz 1.6 which has a max tow weight of 700 kgs, which 90s era caravan would match that weight.
Sherpa Tiny or maybe a Sprite Scout.
Of n boswa XT 75
I think jurgens wimpi will do.
They have a limited choice. The one mentioned above and I would go and have a tow with each to see how the car perform. The fact that it can tow 700kg does not always ensure it can. Good luck to them it is a limited choice as I said
Ek sal se Skipper maar maak maar seker min waens in daai gewig afdeling
Not 90's era caravans but
Model T skipper, GVM is 500
Model T lt Skipper GVM is 600
So these trailers are within the vehicles towing capacity.
Skipper model T LT Tare is 360kg and Gvm is 600kg. The Oyster Tare is about 430kg and i would guess the Gvm about 650kg. You will tow the Skipper easily with the Gets, we sometimes tow with our 1.6 Hundai Accent. You will be amazed how compact the Skipper is and easy to erect and tents really good quality, and i am a bit biased as virtually all Skipper owners cannot sing their praise enough. You will pick asecond hand one up for about R60000 and Skipper have a 15 % discount presently.
after looking at vans mentioned above here i think when i said 90s era i was being optimistic , their budget is like their tow car, quite limited. now looking at a mid 80s sprite scout or swift. there seems to be a couple out there that appear to be in good nick.
