I once asked about it too, unfortunately there was no response in the forum.

The park is actually in St Francis Bay, south of Jeffreys Bay. We only drove past it in 2018 and did not go in at all.

Seems to be a small caravan park with other luxuary accommodation.

they came back to me and  they are not pensioner friendly. i have however been talking to green fountains over the last few months , they just informed me that they have new owners  now, so far they have been pensioner friendly , said they would keep me informed as to what transpires over the next month or so.

Where are you heading after Yellow Sands? What is your roadmap for 2020?

will be at yellow sands Feb , have booked 3 months with an option to extend a further 3 , depends how hooked up we get there. however we not expecting it to be like margate or Richards bay as its a little out of the main stream there but we could also be wrong,in which case we would extend, third quarter of next year looking at port Alfred , green fountains. end of next year would like to be around PE or on the cape town side of PE, still rooting out pensioner friendly parks that side. however the above is not set in stone.

George

I like the way you go about your camping.

Plan loosely ahead, seek out the beneficial camps and stay if you like or go if you do not.

This is the way to really experience and explore the areas in our country.

Thanks for keeping us informed.

Have a look at our website www.flipentilla.com for our list of pensioner discount parks.

Prices have not been updated for 2019, but will give you some idea of their rates.

Willows & Van standen are the most popular resorts with full timers.Personally I would pick Willows over the other.

Willows is the top pensioners park in PE.  Van Stadens is the better shore angling spot, but a long way out of town.

I don’t think there is anything pensioner friendly between PE & Plettenberg. I think Plettenberg is your next stop.

I just love that part of the world, there are many pensioner friendly in the garden route.
