I would not attempt to tow my Exclusive GVM 1900Kg with any EV. With a hybrid I think it will be ok.

I have not seen anyone towing a caravan with an Electric Vehicle.

At this point in time I agree with you Paul.  But in the future, who knows?  One possible solution is that batteries become more standard and quickly replaceable. The battery would not be seen as sold as part of the car as such.  That way you will never have to buy a new battery.  Then it might be possible to have exchange centres at logical distances along the high ways and in towns and cities. A whole new industry might develope.  Impractical? Maybe, maybe not.
