I presume this is a follow up model from the old Jeep Wagoneer. I think it was a rugged vehicle but just wonder about some of the models built in China in the old days.
It should be a great tow vehicle - lots of torque. The only problem I have with 4 speed auto's, is that your direct drive is "3rd" gear - therefore this is the ideal towing gear. So you often find over revving in 2nd (going up hill) and then in to 3 rd gear. It is as if the "gates" between 3rd and 4th is very big. Althopugh I do not have experience with the Jeep 4.0L, I towed with the Jeep KJ 3.7, the model after this one). Having said that, it should not be too big of an issue to overcome.
