Hallo mede kampeerders, waar kamp julle Natallers die naweek? Ons gaan rustig raak by Tugela Mouth Karavaan Park. Die Park is altyd skoon en netjies en bekostigbaar.
Groete.Hennie.

Ons is afgetree - bly by die huis. Maak ons die lang naweke wanneer dit still is.

We will be camping at Marlon Caravan Park.  We priced various parks on the South Coast for a family of four. (We are taking friends or ours two children with us) We took them to Mc Nicols the last time and they love it there. There was so much for them to do.  We shopped around and Marlon for the price was the best option for this long weekend. We have been there previously and was looking for somewhere suitable for the children at the best value for money.  Park prices varied  to over R3000 for the 4 nights at some places. Neill and I did a drive down the South Coast and visited a lot of parks to check them out. There were quiet a few that need to up their game, especially for the tarifs they are charging. If they charge a lot they must give you value for money.

Hi Marg, I agree with you and Hennie regarding the fact of the tariffs charged especially on the South Coast. The March/April school holiday prices are almost in competition with the December prices at some parks!

We were so impressed with Marlon Caravan Park. It is one of the few parks that have  with upkeep and maintainance.  We think it is the best Caravan Park on the south coast, KZN. Although is is not right on the beach, there are two great beaches very close. The bathrooms are modern and very spacious. There are two seperate family bathrooms that have two toilets, a bath, and shower section and handbasins.  In the main bathroom section is a special bathroom for bathing babies, with a changing area and a special baby basin/bath.  The sites are very spacious and well grassed.

From 1:00  to approx 7: 00 in the evening there is food served with a basic menu. ie fish and chips, burgers, prego rolls etc and a very nice friendly bar under a large gazebo. There are also under cover braai's and table and chairs to use.

Neill and I have decided to go again, no cooking, just chilling on takeaway food, and a few at the bar.

Regards MArg
