It has recently been brought to my attention that a number of caravanners and campers have e-mailed requests for camping space, with the dates required by them, and that they did not get an answer from the resort. Apparently these requests were sent via the enquiry form on their websites. If you have had this happen to you, please tell me about it. I need to follow this up. But first, I need to determine as to whether it was simply a remote occurrence, or is it happening often.
I would appreciate it if you e-mailed me with the details of your request as well as the names of the resorts concerned.

I had a problem with Caravan Cove, and had to phone them to confirm a booking.

Evening Willie

I have had similar problems with some of the sites in the Nylstroom area while trying to book in March. Unfortunatley I cannot remember the exact culprits but will make a note of it for the future. I don't think this is isolated. I tend to give up waiting for a reply via e-mail and phone them directly.

Had problems with both Eden Park & Mbizi for May04 bookings. Eventually I phoned Mbizi. Was dissapointed with the cool and somewhat offhanded manner in wich I was treated.

Kwaai Willie you did it, I have requested camping space for the December period, and about 90% of the sites called me back or emailed me.

Thanks for all your hard work (boring) and a great site.

I emailed dE Rust on more than one occasion but decided that if they didnt want me,then I didnt wqant to be there! They never responded at all.
You may well ask why I didnt phone them.I usually catch up with emails etc in the wee small hours of the morning when it is not cconvenient for any one to receive a call!
regards,
deane
