Hi Guys.
I am happy to say that after approx. 20yrs, my Wife and I are the proud owners of a 2016 Sprite Swing.
I've had a Trapezium safely stored in my garage for the past 20ys waiting for the day to be able to use it again.
My question is: Do I need to have it Serviced?
It has not been over-used and I have had it for approx. 25 years.
Replies and advice in either English or Afrikaans would be most welcome.
My Tow vehicle is a Kia Sorento, 2,2 diesel.
Regards

Dave

Hi Dave I suggest you take it too Trapezium Developments in Roodepoort 114 Canada Rd 011 474 4431.They are the mnf and will recondition and advise accordingly including installation details etc. I have a Trapezium fitted by them on my Sorento 2.2 .best tow vehicle I have had to date.

PS I have used a Trapezium for the last 15 years on a number of vehicles will not tow without it .I simply take it to the Mnf(about every 7 years) they check the tolerences and I swap it for a reconditioned unit if required.

A great welcome here and con grats with the Swing.  Hope that you will have many memorable camping days with it.

According to me that trapezium is manufactured in such away that for it to worn away it must be used.  Yours were never to rearly used so I think that it will be just fine.  Only thing that can realy have happened with it is get some rust on it. In such a case Iwould have it checked out by the manufacturer.

They will then iether service it or just swap you with a second hand one in their stock.  But realy to me if there is no visible rust and the mechanism moves easily without any heavy straign. You are up to use it as you wish.

Decision lies with you.

Wow!
Thank you so much for the prompt and useful replies.
I live in Amarosa, Roodepoort so will contact Trapezium and go thru to see them.
Think I am going to enjoy this.
Kind regards to all.

Dave
