Mazzepa bay was my gunsteling visvang plek as jong seun.

We were at the Kob Inn a few years ago and realy loved it. The last section of road was dreadfull, we did it in a 3 series BMW just travelled very slowly. The tipper will do it easily

The Kob Inn itself was awesome.

Het nou Junie toe ek af was Mthata toe so paar paaie gery wat nie te sleg was nie. Hoeka daar by Butterworth. Dit was wel droog en baie stof.

Hoop jy word gehelp.
As jy wil he jou drome moet waar word, moet jy eers wakker word.

There have been reports in the local East London newspaper recently about the poor state of the road to Mazeppa Bay and Trenneries - people complaning of punctures and suspension damage.
The state of roads in the Transkei is an ever changing thing. The N2 is slowly getting better as they widen the road and put down better surfacing, but the gravel roads can still be a nightmare, especially after heavy rains.
October last year we travelled to Dwesa Nature Reserve then from there to Coffee bay via gravel roads with no problem.
Suggest you contact the hotel/resort before going to find out the condition of the road.
Also, keep the gear on your roof-rack covered while travelling to prevent dust getting in.
