Good Day Members,
We are seriously considering buying a 2004 - 2008 Jurgens Exclusive (we'll be first time caravan owners). Just wanted to know if anyone has towed a caravan this size with a 3.2 Ranger (Man), and what was it like?

Hi Travis.  I hand two of the vehicles but both of them were Auto gearboxes.

Two words..........

 

Fantastic Vehicle

I used to tow a Sensation Maia double axle caravan and towed the caravan twice to Cape Town and back and two times to Plettenburg bay, apart from the short weekends away during the year

The auto box made the towing experience more that just great so I would think that after you get to know your manual vehicle towing ability you would feel the same about the vehicle.

Travis - if you did not mention that you "were considering to buy the Exclusive" I would have sworn that it was you who camped at Hartbeeshoek Game Reserve some two weeks ago...

There was this white 3,2 Ford Ranger (manual) with a similar caravan behind. We met a number of campers at the resort so, cannot swear to remember the owner's name, but we did discuss the various gearboxes and he was very appreciative of his vehicle. 

I'd say don't worry - it will turn out to be a lovely combination!!!
