the forecast looked good for sat morning so we launched at the marina and headed for the mouth, after being at the mouth for a while and unable to find a safe way through i turned around and came back to go up river, the boat in the picture was about an hour after me and had attempted to go through, the 4 crew all got to the beach safely , as did the battered boat.

two roads diverged in a wood and i took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.

Later that day about 6 kms up the kowie river, and one back at the club, catching in the river is a lot more difficult then at sea, 

two roads diverged in a wood and i took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.
