Kan iemand my help ek wil n tankbuddy installeer op n 2002 exclusive en die breather moet afgeblok word. Waar sit hy en hoe doen mens dit.

Willie, ek glo nie daar is 'n breather op die pyp wat na die tenk lei nie. Op die tenk is 'n overflow pyp wat afgeblok moet word. 'n Kamper wat 'n tyd gelede langs my gestaan het het gesukkel om die die pype af te blok. Vervang maar die "riffel pype" met "gladde pype" sodat jy al die laste behoorlik kan seel.

Sit die gadget in en toets by die huis. As daar i breather is behoort daar water uit te kom as die tenk vol is. So sal mens hom kan opspoor.

My ex-neighbour's "tank buddy" screwed into the hole where the filler cap is located.

gosh, think we talking about the same thing, just different ideai/way. i never seen one that fits exsisting filler hole, the one i refer to is free standing next to the caravan.

So lyk die "Tank buddy" en is bespreek in 2016. Dit lyk asof George van 'n totaal ander tipe praat maar dalk op dieselfde manier werk.

I installed a tank buddy on my Classique similar to the item in the photo above.  At that time there was no need to block the over flow. 

Important is the fact that the tank buddy must be level as shown in the photo above.

Secondly the breather must be open and is located just above the filler hole.

In essence, the position of the  breather (some would call it over flow) just above the filler plug, the proper sealing of the tankbuddy filler plug and level positioning of the tank buddy is all important for the tank buddy to work properly.

If this is correct the tank buddy will stop the water flow before the water comes through the breather. If you have a breather/ overflow lower than the tank buddy posibility is that the tank buddy will not stop the water when tank is full.

This is the very reason why I mentioned if one cannot find the breather one will find it when you fill up the tank and it happens to be lower than the filler/tank buddy.

Hi, is Tank Buddy still available on the market and where can I get it from? Alternatively, are there any other products in the market that does the same thing. I have a 2016 Jurgens Exclusive and I am looking for an automatic water filler like this.

Those tank buddys as pictured above are available from most caravan outlets, [ eg, loftus caravans ] they just quite expensive.

CampLife in Pta has them. Camping Monkey in Nelspruit supplies them.

I found one should not use it for longer than 2 weeks then some of the water in the tank becomes stagnant/smelly.

Myne het ook lank gewerk, maar die "ball valve" hak soms vas en dan bly die water oorvloei.

Ek maak nooit die oord se kraan heel oop nie want as die Buddy nie stop nie, dan moet die water by daai klein oorvloei kan uitkom.

Ek het dit ook al gehad waneer die oord se water druk te hoog is. Ek het n’ klein water druk reguleerder wat ek in lyn koppel.

Paul, kan jy "wys" hoe die water druk meter lyk asook jou kraan koppeling.

Daai plastiek Y koppelinge word doelbewus deur party kampers gebreek as hy dink jy vat gat met die kraan.

Ek het Brass krane maar my koppeling by die kraan is te lank, dan hang die krane amper op die grond by party oorde en die is vir my nie reg nie.

Die drug reguleerder is Italiaans en was so R600.
