Peter, the only one that I know of that is rated for a 2 ton caravan is the StraightLiner. I have one and it works fine on my Exclusive. It tows very stable without it as well. I had a TANDO for my Gypsey Raven D and Jurgens Penta.

Exclusive is a great caravan for long term camping. I also do the long term camping. Stranded at home now with a reconstructed Achilles Tendon. When it has healed sufficiently we will be on the road again.

Groete,
Paul

i tow my exclusive without a stabilizer and have never had a problem, however i have fitted a vacume service brake assembly to the caravan and the tow bakkie so that  when i brake the whole rig brakes together as one. i can also brake the caravan on its own from inside the bakkie although whilst i have tested it i have never had to use this feature yet.

two roads diverged in a wood and i took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.

I must say the four drum brakes of the overrun brake system on the Exclusive brakes very well. Just keep it adjusted properly.

I have towed extensively without the stabilizer and because the twin axle is inherently stable it tows almost the same as with the stabilizer. The only time I notice an improvement is in cross winds when passing a truck the caravan wobbles a bit without the stabilizer.

Paul

I have fitted a BPW anti-snaking coupling to my Maia. Works great with no other fittings and plates needed on the tow bar.

Ideal for goose-neck type tow bars.
