Just purchased a Jurgens 525a, year 1977. Needs a little tlc. On the way back from Centurion to Phalaborwa the rubber seal that goes from the front of the van, over the top and down to the back, came off. It covers the screws that run along the join between the wall and the roofline. Obviously it’s no longer water proof.
I’ve searched the web but can’t find something similar. But I know I can’t be the only person in SA with this issue. I may as well replace the other side too as it may be perished too.
o any suggestions where I can get it from?

Hi Keith. Herman van Phalaborwa. I am also looking for caravan trim screw cover strips. Looked at the ProAutu Rubber site but did not find these. Did you manage to fix your problem. Anybody else know where to get these plastic strips?
Short answer is no. The product I bought was not correct and did not fit. So in the end I used contact adhesive and glued the old strips back in place. Which is a temporary fix but seemed to work. Let me know if you find a supplier.
Thanks Keith. Will post another query on the technical forum
I talked to Helen at GC Caravans in Witbank. They have those strips at approx R13 per metre. I will be ordering once I have confirmed that it is the correct strips. You can send me photographs and width of yours as well. I have a contact in Witbank that is coming to Phalaborwa during the week of 26 May. You can contact me at ZAP Signs in Phalaborwa
That’s great. I’m overseas at the moment, but will be in touch when I’m back.
