Hi,

been absent for some time but hello all.

I will be towing up to Punda in December, the last time I did I used the N1 and then at Polokwane took the R524 up to Punda. My wife reminded me of how poor the road was, lots of animals and fresh cow patties on the roads which made the going real slow and dirty.

I see there is an alternate route to Punda through Polokwane via the R81.

Both are equal in distance. Can anyone comment on road conditions based on real experiences and give me a recommendation.

I could go way north and come in through Pafuri but that adds lots to the journey.

Cheers
One too many wasted sunsets, one too many for the road.

Andrew.

Gaan soek op, ek het so paar maande terug die pad en toestande verduidelik op in daai rigting. Van Tzaneen, Giyani Malamolele, Punda. Is jou beste en kortste pad.

Sterkte.
