We checked out Klein Paradys this weekend and all I can say is wow. Stunning place.
Huge dam with fantastic wildlife (no crocs). We saw eagles hunting, water monitors and plenty of birdlife. They have a nice waterpark for kids to keep busy at. They do canoe hire from that that want to fish from the middle of the dam or just for having fun. We picked oranges right from their trees a novelty for my city kids.
Stands are grassed beautifully and nicely spaced with excellent shade. Bathrooms were lovely too, clean and neat. Water park is currently closed and being maintained.
Fences are electrified around the whole camp and the entrance has a boom and guard but was unmanned as the campgrounds are empty, but in summer it's manned apparently. Not sure about a shop as the place was basically shut down for the season but I assume there was one somewhere.
It looks lovely and I am very excited about camping there come summer.
Thanks for feedback. Its helpfull.
Dit lyk lekker daar sal moet gaan draai.
Dankie vir die nice terugvoering en fotos
Also been to this resort a couple of times. We usually comparred this resort to others else where take the rates into concideration. We really could not find any reason why the other resorts had such hi camping rates to what they had on offer and Klein Paradys Brits give so much for so less.
It will always be one of our special resorts.
By the way the as far as I know the canoe's are not for hire the are just there and if no one use it you can just get in and paddle.
There is also a garden of eden that you can walk through to the eastern side of the waterpark area. If you go there you don't want to leave. Fountains various plants and abundant bird life. Ideal place to sit and read a book.
