Anyone know anything about this resort situated at Munster?? Ablutions, Security, Distance to the Beach?? At R315 per night for two people, I suppose one should not expect too much
Hi, I notice no reply on your forum. Did you stay at Mittenwald Caravan Park Munster? If so, what was your experience of the place? We are "new" caravan campers and it is our first sea camping and I do not want it to be the last and with a baby I would like it to be a good memory. Please let me know.
First time I hear about this resort. Maybe its new or its just not very popular.
Hi, I live on the South Coast KZN. I know of Munster but do not know of this caravan park. If you want to campon the south coast there are a lot of good caravan parks. When inquiring ask about the railway line. Do yhou have to cross it to get to the beach, and is the beach a swimming beach. The price of R315 is not cheap for two people per night. There are 4 star caravan parks close to this price. I am interested to find out about this caravan park. Anyone out there know anything.
Mittenwald Caravan Park, Munster, Kwazulu Natal, the camp site was very clean, with grass
all over and the most beautiful trees. It is safe to camp there under the
watchful eyes of the security guards. It is very quiet and relaxed at the camp
sites. The ablution blocks are being kept cleaned around the clock. There are
laundry facilities available at a cost. There are no luxuries; it is just the
basic camp site. The beaches are nearby to drive to. Our 17month old baby
enjoyed the beach and the sea at Glenmore beach because of the small waves and
shallow water for meters into the sea. We camped at Mittenwald for 6 nights and
it was a wonderful experience for our first sea camping trip. The Owner, Olga,
was very helpful and friendly and did come by every day to make sure everything
was fine and that we were still happy campers.
Appears not Marg the website looks reasonable tho.
