Hi, Just went for a short visit to Queensburgh Caravan Park this last weekend. (We also camped there Dec 2011). The park is just as good as before and the owners just as friendly. We arrived Sat morning, stayed over night and left Sunday afternoon. It was short but very relaxing as we did not cook but ate in their restaurant. The best beef curry I have had for years on Sat night and carvery & pud for Sunday lunch. It was just what we needed, a gap from the normal. We are going again in Dec 2012.
Last month we went to Bushwillow Caravan Park 20Ks from Howick, Kzn. We stayed 5 days and had a ball visiting all over the Meander. The park is immaculate, abulutions spotless, and the owner very friendly and helpfull. Every evening before leaving he would come around and ask if everything was alright and if we needed anything. It was cold at night but the days were fantastic. We will definately be going back next year.
Next month we are going to Karideen Caravan Park, it will be a rugby watch weekend and braai as the park has DSTV connect on every site. Every one gets together had chears the game on, its also a nice change from the normal camping.
Thanks for the informative snippet Marg
