Hi, What a fantastic week end camping at Queensburgh Caravan Park, Dbn, Kzn. Friday night we all sat around a fire with our candles and sung christmas carols. We all had sheet music so there was no excuse that you did not know the words. Saturday morning father Chrismas came to see the children on a tractor. The children all received a gift (we had to supply a gift under R50 for each child) then they had a children christmas party. In the evening there was a Christmas dinner. The food was one of the best catered dinners we have had. Gammon, chicken, beans with bacon and mustroom and onion, cauliflower with cheese sauce, rice, gravy and roast potatoes to die for. I dont know what the pudding was made from but it was served with cream or ice cream, also to die for. Sunday the weather was hot, so smimming in the pool was the answer. What a fantastic caravan park, so well kept. The hosts were fantastic and friendly. The staff were fantastic. This is a caravan park in the edge of the residential area, not far from home, but when in the caravan park you can not believe it. You really feel like you are in a little drakensburg. There is a little river running at the bottom of the park with a back drop of rock and trees.
All I can say is they really have earned their 4 stars. I would rate this weekend as five star. We are already planning to go again soon.
Hi, I forgot to mention. We also won the Christmas hamper. It was a huge basket of wine (three bottles), biscuits, sweets, savouries, etc.
It really was our lucky week, as we were also excepted as full members with the trekkers camping club.

Hi, Wat 'n fantastiese week einde kampeer by Queensburgh Caravan Park, DBN, KZN. Wat 'n fantastiese karavaan park, so goed gehou. Die gashere was fantasties en vriendelik. Die personeel was fantasties.
Ek wil hierdie naweek koers as vyf ster. Ons is al van plan om binnekort weer te gaan.
This Sunday after church all our family met at Queensburgh Caravan Park for a family Chistmas get together. They did a very nice lunch for us. We normally have the family at our house but since we are not going to be home for christmas we decided to get together for an early Christmas lunch. Queensburgh have a lady Anne who does private catering for them. The tables were all set with Christmas table cloths. My family could not get over how nice the caravan park was. They said they know now why we camp once a month .(They thought caravan parks were all squatter camps.)
We are also going to off to Queensburgh Caravan Park this weekend for our club Christmas weekend. It should be a fantastic weekend going on last year. Carols by candle light Friday night, then the childrens Christmas party on Sat morning and finally our dinner. So looking forward to. Holding thumbs for good weather.
We thank-you for all the kind words. I have to mention that people who don't know what camping is all about should come out and experience what life is really all about. I don't think there is a better way of spending QUALITY-TIME with friends and family. These are people that enjoy life and appreciate the freedom and pleasures of life away from home. Non-campers should try it!
As mentioned before, Corrie and I strive to support and give our best to all our visitors. Your pleasure and satisfaction motivates us to do better as we will always be part every caravanner and camper. Your satisfaction is our joy!
Corrie and I wish to thank those campers who supported us during 2012 and wish them a Blessed Christmas and Prosperous New Year. WE LOVE CAMPERS! Hope to see you all again next year.

Christmas at Queensburgh Caravan Park is a very good idea. Queensburgh Caravan Park is a great place where you can enjoy. I like to go there and spend my weekend at Queensburgh Caravan Park in next month.
Highway also had there Christmas Rally @ Queensburgh once again this year, however unlike last year we thought to do the kids Christmas a little closer to the actual time.
This park amazes you with its shear beauty. its hard to belive that you are a stones trow from both Durban & Pinetown.
This is one park that you will always wish you had gone to sooner
It sounds so good we will definately give it a visit sometime next year. That is after our finances have recovered after Kgalagadi and the "saamtrek" at Lion Park over Easter.
BEEN THERE, DONE IT, AND WILL DEFINATELY DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. JUST LOVE IT. THE CLEANIST, BEST PARK AROUND.
TO PIETER AND CORRIE , OWNERS OF THE PARK, THANKS ONCE AGAIN FOR A VERY MEMORABLE WEEKEND. YOUR
CARAVAN PARK IS AMAZING. THE HARD WORK HAS REALLY PAID OFF.
REGARDS MARG, NEILL AND MARSHALL
Marg is absolutely correct about everything she said about Queensburgh Caravan Park.
The pictures she posted were of Trekkers Laager 1 childrens Chrismas Tree celebration.
I actually live up the road from the park, not more than 500m, but once you are in this Park you would never guess your are so close to suburbia. Add some really good Club friends to that situation, and you have the recipe for a great Outspan.
