I have mailed Raasblaar, to enquire about a reservation.

An email comes back: "

Just found another one...

Navigated to the "Contact Us" page, completed the form but could not submit as there is an image missing which you are supposed to read and type into the field.

There is also no contact telephone number on this page and no email address.

I found a number elsewhere and called and the person who answered was not aware of that which they mentioned.

Makes me wonder if they even check their own web site!

Currently I look for the various resorts available here.  Then I go look for a contact number on the web elsewhere.

I have tried the contact us link but from 5 resorts one mailed me back and one called me back the rest till now, no answer.

If I may digress slightly...

I sent an email to a well known outdoor supplier.

There was no response.

I eventually contacted the CEO, and it turns out that the staff do not check their spam folders. There are another 2 branches with the same behaviour, so I have drawn the same conclusions.

Moral of the story... respond to email within 8 working hours and check your spam folders.

As a result of poor email responses other than Raasblaar mentioned in this post, another two caravan parks/venues have lost a reservation opportunity.

Very interesting. It seems this is another resort to move down in the list of places to arrange some camping. Although service is generally bad it is just a better experience dealing with resorts that do respond or even phone you back like Weesgerus.

Same problem experienced in the trade. No feed back at all. Why then supply a e-mail adress at contact info. 

Bussiness is still to good in this country. We do not worry about client/customer service.

Yes Chuck. Looks like times are good, or so they believe. If there is money in the bank acount you are in business?

We are coming out of winter, and one would expect caravan park owners to be ramping up their initatives to get the customers coming back.
