We have stopped over at the AP Kerk in Kroonstad. Lovely area under some trees. 

We have the place to our selves no one else is expected. Lovely and peacefull

Pierre yes this is on the AK Kerk property. Prices are very reasonable R200/n

Good to know Brain as there does not seems suitable overnight caravan stands at Kroonstad

Yip Kroonpark definetly No Go and Jukskei Park as a last resort. AP Kerk definitely the better option in Kroonstad.

Ablutions are within the church buildings but not too far. There is only one shower and one toilet. So if there were lots of people here it may become an issue so always goo to enquire before coming, however if your van has the facilities then there is no real issue. Also need a long extension if you need power.

For security - the gate is remotely activated and around church site its a working sheep farm.

Yes I would agree however they atm don't get lots of campers so not a problem, I would think if there were too many they would open the chalets up to ease the pressure on the ablution.

Besides if one needs to break your journey here, as we did hen this is really your only option Kroonpark and Jukskei Park are both not viable options.

Ek bring net hierdie onderwerp vorentoe omdat daar op 'n ander gedprekslyn melding gemaak is van die "kerk-kamperingsterrein" by Kroonstad (terwyl die vraag wat gevra is eerder oor Bloemfontein handel).

My seun wil volgende jaar, op pad wildtuin toe, in die omgewing van Kroonstad oornag. Maar waar? Kroonpark is deesdae 'n "no-go" en Jukskeipark klink ook nie na iets om oor opgewonde te word nie. Maar ek kry niks op Google oor hierdie kampeerarea by die APK Kroonstad nie.
