Welkom tot die forum.
Ons kamp al vir meer as 10-jaar, maar kamp nou tans meer as 1-jaar permanent.
Die gewone kampe was lekker, maar om permanent dit te doen is die aanpassing uitdaagink.
Dit het my 2-maande geneem om aan te pas van huis tot permanent, maar ons geniet die buite lewe en bosveld.

We all have to start somewhere. Glad you took the decision, you will not regret it over the long haul. Just do it and take the wet for what it is and hope to dry out quickly!

Campers are very accommodating and have one problem, to talk. You walk past my camp, we greet and we talk. Only excuse is if you are on your way to the ablutions, we still greet, but on your way back, you stop for a talk, maybe a quick coffee.

2 minutes to the ablutions, two hours back to your camp.

That essence of sharing is what makes camping special.

Very true from Proffie.

Sometimes, the weather is good and sometimes bad, but campers are always there to help, does not matter bad or good.

Previous weekend we had extremely bad winds in Limpopo and saw tents uplifting, but within seconds the helping campers were there to assist.

Never fear if you have assisting neighbours.
