Drive through Naudes pass much easier than expected. Can be done with a SUV or bakkie.

Stopped at Tenahead for breakfast and a full English breakfast with coffee was R80 each.

If you want accommodation its an arm and a leg at R3200 per person sharing. Rhodes is a better bet. There is a basic caravan park at Rhodes.

This is my favourite area.

Have been over this pass more than a 100 times (plus other passes in the area) Love to do the 4x4 thing in this erea.

My cousins the Naudes (Stephaans & Doon) have been farming here for ages. Their grate grandfather did the lay-out of this pass by horse.

We like to visit in the winter when it snows in this area

Thanks for nice photo's

Saw the monument to the Naudes. They pegged the pass out in 1898. Must have been something else building the road in those days without payloaders.

We can really see why you love the area. Not only do you come from it, it is also ons of the most beautiful areas in the region. With it's own beauty.
