Nie Mahai of Drakensville nie......was reeds daar, wil n ander oord probeer.

WAARSKUWING:

Kampeer is aansteeklik en verslawend 😁

Njasuti but you go there from Loskop (not sure if electricity is available). This is a natural unspoilt Parks board site).Dragon Peaks, you go past Champagn Sports resort (near Mountain Splendour. A bit commercial but it has all the facilities. Monks cowl is after Champagne Castle and in the mountains.

Hlalanathi for sure . Try and camp at Site no 1.

Paved site with a 180 degree view of the berg ...... and the Tugela flowing just below the campsite , lovely Ablutions, on site shop and restuarant and a  pool right behind the camping spot(no 1)

You are close to all the resorts in Northern and Central Drakensberg areas  with ample to see especially in the Winterton area.  Bee farm , Craft beer breweries , wine farm ...yes you read correctly ......Chocolate factory , some nice restaurants  and pubs......antique shops e tc etc .

I last visited there 2017/8

none

I can highly recommend Mountain Splendour, especially if you take one of the “view” sites with private ablutions. We will go back there any time... Have heard some not so good reports about Dragon Peaks, a little further up the road.

If you’re a golfer I believe Hlalanathe is also nice.

Never too old to have a happy childhood

Didima resort is baie basic..... Bitter basic....

Hlalanathi sal my voorkeur wees.
