I need a very simple Pizza Sauce recipe. Something a little more sophisticated than Tomato Sauce or Ketchup, but not involving a long cooking spell.
Please help.
Don't confuse one's personality with one's attitude. One's personality is who you are. One's attitude depends on who the other person is. Therefore, be who you are and say how you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

I mix chutney and mayonnaise to add to the base. This works well with mushroom, bacon and cheese sausages topped with a mix of mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Not very sophisticated, but tastes good.

Thanks Karin and chameleon.

Yesterday I took a can of chopped tomatoes, added some garlic, salt, pepper, oreganum, olive oil and ketchup (normal tomato sauce to bring out the tomato taste), simmered that for about 45 minutes, left it to cool and painted that on the bases. That was really good. I should have added the oreganum right at the end, since that lost a bit of flavor. The left overs are in the fridge for next time.

Kanneman your's is a brilliant pasta sauce. Ffor pizza with a home made base, I brush tomato paste on, just a little as it is strong in flavour. Lotts of grated Mosarella, next the toppings, and sprinkling of Mosaerlla to bind the tasty bitts.
Our base is very thin, and a saucy layer won't work as it will be too soft for handling of dalk mishandeling.

Hi Willie, thanks.
I have this lousy habit of pulling the "where ignorance is bliss" stint when I get rubbed up the wrong way. Jokes aside, since I am jobless these days I have nothing to do, and the whole day in which to do it. I just change my main activity venue from time to time.

I meant to ask you, did you at the time when I last saw you at Inhoff manage to buy some of that wine with the rude label and caring inscription on the opposite side? Unfortunately they have stopped producing, so I can no longer advise my buddies how little I think of them! (how do I insert smileys?) embarassed

Whilst I am thinking of it and since you are beating me at it, I cannot help wondering how some people's "Experience" is calculated in the personal profile? Mine is since I first hitched a caravan behind my own car. From some figures it looks as if some younger guys take it from when they first camped with their parents or grand parents. (Insert smiley) tongue-out

Yes Pieter, I managed to get a few bottles - big hit at my 60th. I gave a bottle to each of my Brother-in-laws! That had them going. All four still display them in their lounges/bars, and I also display one.

I have inserted some smilies for you. Look at the top far right hand corner, or sometimes it moves to the last icon in the "Reply to topic" box. There is a smiley face there. They are for some or other reason referred to as "Emoticons."

Good to hear from you again - missed you!  yell

Regards.
