Hi looking for some input on the towing capability of a Hyundai H1 bus 2.4 petrol. Does anyone tow with one and what is your thoughts. I know the diesel is better but can't afford it. Currently have a ford ranger double cab but with the 3rd child traveling is a disaster. Please share your thoughts.

I will suggest, keep your Ranger.
I will never trade a brandname for Hyundai.
My weekly vehicle is a Hyundai, but spares are very rare and expensive and so is maintenance.
Should you wish a bus, rather investigate into brandnames.....

I would keep away because the engine torque is probably not enough, and if you currently have a ranger you will be pulling your hair out in frustration.
I have a 2.5l suv with about the same power and torque, which is fine for towing a 1300kg van. But the H1 is over 500kg heavier! So unless you have a tiny caravan you will not be passing anyone soon.
There is a review on wheels24 from 2009 if you search for "hyundai h1 wheels24" where the reviewer has some harsh words regarding the engine performance.
