Commet Caravans Boksburg - EPIC FAIL

Hi All,

This is the scenario;

I damaged my Jurgens Palms caravan right side panel and window in DECEMBER 2016. Having dealt with Commet Caravans in Boksburg before I took it there beginning January 2017. We are now MAY/JUNE 2017 and in all this time I have received NO as in absolutely NO feedback. Saturday the 26th I decided to go see how far the repairs to my Palma are? I get there and my caravan if dirty, full of glue on the nose panel, there is saw dust all over the inside of the can, tools lying around inside my van. I asked them to do some extra stuff, and thats not even done yet.

NOW;

Almost 5 months later and throwing my toys out of the cot, they promised to deliver my van this saturday. I get a call now asking me if they can keep my caravan for for an additional week I.E only give it to me next weekend cause they dont wanna RUSH the remainder of the job.

AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE? And I am a Commet Client for 4 years now.
This is not the level of service one expects from them.

Dieselfde eienaar wat Jurgens en Sensation gekoop het....hoop nie dieselfde tipe diens loop oor soontoe nie....

Sjoe dis i bad een. Ek moes 6 weke wag by i onafhanklike plek om agterkant en driekwart v d dak se hout te vervang en ook die plafon. Dis pateties dat so min gedoen is in 5 maande. Shame Comet.

Daai groot baas het nou te veel hooi op sy vurk.  Dus kan hy nie meer persoonlik aandag gee aan die besigheid nie en laat dit oor aan sekere individue.

Nou dit is waar die pap op die grond val. Jou diens, My diens, Hom se diens, Haar se diens en Dit se diens is nie dieselfde diens nie.

Heeltemal waar....interessant dat die oomblik wat 'n familie besigheid net "nog 'n besigheid" word die personal touch onmiddelik verdwyn en daarmee saam ook die kwaliteit van sy dienste en waarskynlik ook sy produkte. Ek hou Sensation met groot belangstelling dop om te sien of die kwaliteit behoue gaan bly...

Met die apies by Ezemvelo wat my karavaan net by die dak geskeur het, is my "Pophuis" ook na Comet toe in Boksburg. Die skade is herstel met betaling deur SANTAM. Dit het seker so 3 weke geneem om die karavaan terug te kry, meer a.g.v. 'n misverstand tussen my en Comet - ek moes 'n kwotasie kry vir SANTAM, maar hulle het reeds toestemming gegee dat die skade herstel kan word. Comet het die kwotasie aan my gestuur en vir my gewag om die kwotasie te aanvaar. Na die probleem uit die weg geruim is, was die karavaan so 10 dae later terug by my. Werk is baie goed gedoen. Ek het egter ook verneem dat Johan, die vorige Diensbestuurder, nie meer werksaam is by Comet nie ......

Nico ek het ook al baie te doen gehad met Comet en Johan by werkswinkel hy was n yster en geweet wat gaan aan Cabs dis jammer wat jou oorgekom het ek sou ook so voel gaan sit met Thomas en gesels daaroor sterkte
