CaravanParks.com Q4 2018 will see the long awaited PHASE 1 of the project called Animals of Southern Africa.
After months of building, we are almost ready to launch Phase 1 of 3 Phases.
What more do you want within this project other than just a comprehensive Animal Field Guide?
Thanks for the effort.
Kannie wag om meer te leer.

Mooi CP. Kannie wag om die uitgawe in die hande te kry nie.
Groete.
An illustration of their trackmarks(spore) would be a good idea.
Wow...dit klink nice! Kan nie wag nie!
Agree with Snys' idea of showing tracks. Droppings will also be most welcome. To make it usable in the veld, I would suggest a confortable small format for the book so that you van easily carry it in your back pack. I do assume it will be available in bookform?
Wow! This looks excellent! Can't wait.
Waar is dit lekker? Hier is dit lekker!!!!
It will be nice if there is space to make a few notes such as Place and Dates observed.
In what formats will the guide be available?
Thanks CP. I can assure you we will welcome this.
Great idea well done! Looking forward to launch.
Looking forward to it!!!
We are trying not to expose too much about this project at the moment. We have many ideas and concepts already, but we are looking for as many additional ideas from you as possible that we have not taken into consideration.
Please go wild with any ideas, even if you think they may seem crazy to others.
We are all crazy here, so crazy in normal to us.
Yes, but not part of this Phase 1.
We do however in our Phase 2 have birds of prey, ostriches and if I can recall birds found at the beach or something to this effect.
Birds at the beach could take up quite a few pages.
Dit is n defnitiewe no,no.
Ek dink dit het die birds on/at the beach redelik opgesom.
Great idea. Can't wait to get a copy.
This project is really looking so good so far. We have been working flat-out over the last few months and it should be ready in the next two or three weeks or so, but I really should not mention any date because this is a big project and things take a little longer in our different departments.
We will be launching 100 Southern African Animals in this Phase 1 and we have already made the Phase 2 list for 2019. Collecting all the information is quite a task, but doing something right is very important to us. Drawing all these animals has been interesting to say the least, but we are happy with the final versions we have now.
The Forums intergeneration has been very successful over the last few weeks as most of the Forums Code has now been written and finalized.
Soon you will be able to ADD various Animals into your WISH LIST, and then even ADD them into your SIGHTED LIST along with recording the RESORT or NATIONAL PARK you sighted them in.
Then post your Animal sightings onto the Forums for everyone to have a discussion about.
This sounds good. Would be great to connect the sightings with the resort.
Exactly Leon, connecting the sighting with the actual resort is one of the main functions on how it is going to work. You will be able to view the latest resorts that just had a sighting via a search list.
Obviously, the other search lists will provide the ability to view all the latest animals sighted, and then it will again tell you what resort it was sighted in.
Multiple search angles depending on the campers needs.
Well this project has almost been completed. The last of the animals have been drawn and is now in the final testing phase.
Holley (my wife) and I will be traveling in a motorhome touring Northern Province and Kruger Park from next week.
This is a two week trip and we will be launching the Animals of Southern Africa on this trip.
Can I assume the app will available for mobile devices, both iOS and Android?
Thank you for the question.
The Animals of Southern Africa will be an additional part of these actual CaravanParks.com Forums and all the tools and toys will be found within the Dashboard.
What you see below is including Phase 2. Birds of Prey, Common Birds and Marine animals will only be launched next year for Phase 2 once we have drawn and written the text. 100 Animal of Southern Africa is to be launched around 1st September 2018 as Phase 1.
This is what you will see as an additional section of your Dashboard.
......die lang wag is darem amper verby! Lyk baie goed!
This project is currently at Proof Reading.
I am sorry I told everyone it was almost ready. I decided to send it away for checking even if it delayed the launch to be proofread by a professional.
This person has a degree in, well everything to do with South African animals, wildlife and conservation...
This project is now in the final stage. We are looking forward to seeing it soon.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hurry hurry hurry....................... we have been waiting since your trip to the KNP. This professional must not take to long.
